Bodybrand LLC ("we," "us," or "our") built the KalorieAi application (the “Service”) to help users conveniently log and manage their daily food intake by allowing them to take photos of their meals and track nutritional information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you use our Service. By using KalorieAi, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
Account Information: When creating an account, you may be asked to provide an email address, password, and name.
Profile Data: During onboarding, we may ask for your age, weight, height, and weight goals to personalize your experience and provide accurate calorie recommendations.
Food Images
Photo Uploads: You can upload photos of your meals for calorie and nutritional analysis.
These images may be processed by our third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI) to identify and estimate calorie/nutritional content. According to the third-party provider’s documentation, the images are deleted shortly after analysis and not retained in their system.
Analytics Data
Log Data: When you use our Service, certain information is automatically collected, such as your device’s IP address, operating system, device type, the pages or features you access, the time and date of your visit, and other diagnostic data.
Crash Reports: In the event of an error or crash, diagnostic data may be automatically logged and sent to third-party services to help us improve the Service.
Payment Information
Subscriptions: KalorieAi offers both annual and monthly subscription plans with a 3-day free trial. Payments are processed through Apple’s in-app purchases and managed via RevenueCat. We do not store or have access to your full payment information.

Analytics and Improvements
We use PostHog to collect usage analytics to understand how users interact with KalorieAi and to improve the Service.
We also use LunaryAI during development to monitor AI inputs/outputs to enhance performance and user experience.

To respond to your requests, inquiries, and feedback.

To send you important updates, such as changes to this Privacy Policy or other necessary notifications.
3. Third-Party Services
KalorieAi integrates with third-party services for various functionalities, such as AI processing, nutrition data, analytics, and payment processing. These services may collect information used to identify you. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party providers:

4. Data Storage and Security
Data Storage
We store user profiles (age, weight, height, weight goals, email, and name) in Firebase Firestore.
Food images are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage.
Images sent to OpenAI for analysis are processed per OpenAI’s data handling policies and deleted shortly after analysis.
Security Measures
We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies: While KalorieAi does not directly use cookies, some third-party code and libraries integrated into our Service may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to collect information and improve their services. You can set your device or browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. However, some features of the Service may not function properly if you disable cookies.
6. Children’s Privacy
KalorieAi is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian who becomes aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@bodybrand.co. If we discover we have received personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
